Double guards (Frost- and Tainted Guard to start buying) gives twenty haste with a bonus of maximum mana. The one hundred bonus physical armor gotten from Frost Guard and Horned Plate is enough armor early into the game to have physical junglers, carries or midlaners take more than just an extra second to deal with you. Take this to your advantage. Play around with the haste :)
