vanq is super strong of a item, i will say trading it with omen as 2nd item is possible, and trade omen 4th item for painweaver as you improve.
Burst potential is insane with this item, and now with added pen its busted. Building demo instead isnt bad if there is a lot of tanks, it will synergize well with vanq where ur basics will now do 50% crit chance.
in reality the only tankish item you need, if there is a lot of assassins like feng and kallari and count, go stonewall.
