Do you, like I, enjoy the funny mechanic lady but struggle with poor impulse control and constantly run out of mana? Are you excited for a match until the moment you get to lane and remember that you have to play the first 15 minutes having a picnic under your safety tower? Do you wish her ult did more than tickle people? Well, that last one I can't help with, BUT your mana problems are over!

Beginner's Guide to Gadget
Step 1: Grab Magician Crest; you need it for the mana. If you really want Obelisk, switch to the alternative item set.
Step 2: Buy Divine Potion. Use it for the mana, you will need it.
Step 3: If you are playing against Countess and/or a lot of heroes with healing, instead, follow the Anti-Heal build and skip step 4.
Step 4: If you want to focus on waveclear, grab Azure Core first. If you want to poke, grab Soulbinder first
Step 5: Stay on your side of the river and kill minions for the next half-hour like your life depends on it, because it does.
Step 6: When your passive hits about 500 stacks heads will explode, so you can start being much more aggro then. Remember that your Security Gate is a flimsy escape option, so as a last resort, you can use your ult to cover your rear while running away.

Notes:
The goal of the normal build is to poke, waveclear, and get passive FDA stacks as fast as possible so that you can explode your enemies. In the early game you have to play defensive and try not to push too far forward because gadgets mobility is low and only has decent damage, but in the late game you should be cracking heads.

The goal of the Obelisk build is to survive early game until you get the crest evolution, then stack magic on-hit effects for your basic attack.

The goal of the Anti-Heal build is to kill Countess and not get killed by her. It assumes that, whether you like it or not, you're gonna be in close-quarters combat often. Spellbreaker can be traded out for other magical armor items, but hopefully, it helps you survive when she dumps her kit on you.
